It's Trying To Conceive Tuesday!

Welcome to Issacsprayer & Trying To Conceive Tuesdays! What are you doing to prepare for your pregnancy, your miracle? Is it too soon to start watching what you eat and making sure you are eating well-balanced meals and drinking healthy amounts of water? Is it necessary to start taking a pre-natal vitamin? Should you start and maintain a pregnancy safe regime for exercise? Maybe you have asked yourself these questions and many more a thousand times. Perhaps, you have convinced yourself that it would be absolutely ridiculus to prepare for something with no guarantee. I beg to differ. If you have decided that you are trying to conceive....it is not too soon to start paying attention to what you eat in order to make sure you are eating a well-balanced meal or slowly introducing 64 ounces of water daily into your diet. It is not too soon to start taking pre-natal vitamins or to develop a pregnancy safe exercise regime. The earllier you start making these changes for the better, perhaps the better you will feel, and the healthier your miracle pregnancy will be!! And just in case you didn't notice...this is also an act of faith. Remember, faith without works is dead! Prepare your body for the miracle pregnancy that GOD is going to bless you with. You want GOD to know that you trust him and that you are going to do all that you can to take care of your body, his temple, and your womb. Infertility can sometimes make you feel powerless. You come to realize that you have no control over normal functions such as having a regular menstrual cycle, or ovulation. Do not focus on what you cannot control! Focus on what you can control! You can control what you eat, what you drink, what supplements your body gets and what exercise your body gets. In other words, if you are Trying To Conceive, treat your body accordingly! Infertility can cause a great deal of emotional stress (Notice I did not say that stress causes infertility, but infertility can cause stress!) Therefore you need to counteract this emotional stress with some physical additives that will naturally help you feel a little more in control! So if you haven't done so already, create a trying to conceive journal with a meal plan, exercise plan and pre-natal vitamin regimen. Prepare for your pregnancy, seek God for wisdom and strength, maintain your faith and trust in GOD and I dare you to wait for that miracle pregnancy. Until next time, May God Bless Your Womb!

Thoughts of Love and Peace Thursday!

Welcome to issacsprayer! It is Thoughts of Love and Peace Thursdays. Today I want to encourage you to think positive thoughts regarding your fertility journey.
In Phillipians 4:8 it says-"whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think of these things." No matter what the doctors or the statistics say, think on good things. Let me give you an example...Maybe your doctor has said that you and your husband have a fertility issue and you have to pursue an expensive treatment option such as IVF in order to have a possible but no garauntee chance of having children...you may be wondering, how am I suppose to think on the good things? where is, if any, the good in this situation? Well, the scripture says:

1.whatsoever things are true-it is true that you are a child of God, it is true that God promised to give you the desires of your heart, it is true that God is a faithful God.
2.whatsoever things are honest-you have been honest with God about your desire to have children. you have been honest with YOURSELF and any relevant person such as your spouse about your feelings and what you REALLY want.
3.whatsoever things are just (meaning honorable, or righteous): the word of God is just. you can think about how to honor GOD through this trail in your life. how can you honorably deal with your situation, i.e.talk to and help others who are dealing with infertility, become an advocate, etc...
4.whatsoever things are pure- God's love for you is pure. his promises to you are pure(free from impurities and contanminants)therefore there is nothing, absolutely nothing that could interfere with God's love and promises for you!
5.whatsoever things are lovely-you will have a GOD given miracle of a lovely pregnancy, a lovely delivery, a lovely child or children and you will be a lovely parent.
6.whatsoever things are of good report: regardless of ANYthing else (including the financial part)the good report is that you have treatment options. the good report is that God is in control and he has the last say. the good report is that he blessed the wombs of many other women before you...so why wouldn't or couldn't he bless yours. the good report is that you have the faith in GOD and the relationship with God to ask him for the very thing your heart desires. the good report is that it only takes a mustard seed amount of faith to move a mountain...in this case the obstacle, problem, or issue that is keeping you from becoming a parent. the good report is...GOD IS ABLE! HE HAS THE POWER TO BLESS YOUR WOMB!

It is very important to remember to take what "people" say with a grain of salt. Do not let people and their words determine how you proceed through your fertility journey. Don't let anyone deposit any negative thoughts into your faith bank! This is important because the more you think of positive things, the quicker you will begin to believe these positive things for your life, regardless of what things appear to be. This is called faith building. God will honor you for your faith, he will love to know that you trust him despite what is going on around you.

So as you walk through your fertilty journey, think of good things. Think of peace. think of GOD and his promises. think of proving the doctor wrong. think of holding your miracle in your arms. think of the possibilities...because with God ALL things...ALL things...A-L-L things...ALL things...including your ability to concieve...it is possible...i repeat, ALL things are possible with GOD-Matthew 19:26.

Until next time, May God Bless your Womb!

It is Waiting for my.... (you fill in the blank) Wednesdays!

Waiting for my...(you fill in the blank)WEDNESDAYS: (e.g. waiting for my 2 week wait to be over so that I can pee on a stick and wait for my BFP(Big Fat Positive)so that I can wait 9 months to have the baby I just couldn't wait for!)
(Isaiah 40:31- But they that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings as eagles;they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.)

I am waiting for November to get here so that my hubby and I can start our very first (and hopefully last) IVF cycle. I am waiting to see how much medicince I am going to have to take. I am waiting to see if they are horsepills, if so...I will need a serious pill crusher. I am waiting to experience, operation concieve a baby. I am waiting to pee on a stick, and waiting to get the phone call, and waiting to hear a voice say, you're pregnant! I am waiting to hear the first heart beat or beats(in the event of twins). I am waiting to see what I will look like with a baby bump. I am waiting to feel kicks from the miracle within my stomach. I am waiting to see just how contractions really feel...for myself! I am waiting to squeeze my husband's hand really tight for pure comfort. I am waiting to hear the nurse or doctor say...PUSH! KEEP PUSING! The baby is almost here! PUSH! BREATH (Hee-Hee Hoo)! I am waiting for the moment. The very moment. The moment my miracle or miracles are born! I am waiting to cry at the very moment they lay him or her or both on my chest. I am waiting to hear the first cry. I am waiting for the moment when the doctor says, you have a healthy child or children! I am waiting for my husband to cry tears of joy. I am waiting for us to cry tears of joy together and hug and kiss. Most of all, I am waiting to hold my miracle or miracles for the first time. But there is one thing I am not waiting for.....I am not waiting to praise God and thank him for blessing my womb! I am praising and thanking him in advance! Struggling with infertility, requires alot of waiting! Tired of waiting? Well, Praise God now for what he is going to do! And soon...your wait will be over!!!---Please feel free to share with me what you are waiting for and perhaps even what you are not waiting for...until next time...May God Bless Your Womb!
